Into it has been carved a part of Psalms 119:59-64, as found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, a collection of Hebrew scriptures that date back 2000 years, unearthed in the Qumran Caves near the Dead Sea between 1947 and 1956. Note YAHWEH’s name in the ancient Hebrew script, while the rest of the text is in a more modern Hebrew that was used at the time.
